Glogster

Glogster is a desktop publishing program that has a ton of options, and it is super easy to use. I was creating a poster within 10 minutes. Basically, you use it to create a single page poster in which you can embed video, pictures, weblinks, audio, etc. It comes with graphics packages and a number of backgrounds. They have a 30 day free trial if you want to check it out.

Kwiqpoll and Padlet

Have you ever wanted to ask your students for input?  Or check understanding before or after a lesson?  If yes, Kwiqpoll might help you.  The polling service is very basic and does not require an account on the teacher or student side.  Simply create the poll and share the link with you students.  Watch the results tally on your computer and share with your students.

Do you love Post-It notes?  How about digital post-it notes?  A canvas for notes and comments that you can share on your projector or view later.  Students can share their thoughts anonymously or attach their name. Padlet, formally Wallwisher, is a web tool that does all of this without creating an account.  A wall can be created in seconds and the link shared with your students.  Give it a try!!!  Need help?  Contact your T.I.S.  Want help now?  Watch the video on Richard Byrne's website!!!
